How to Connect Shopify

Connecting Shopify to Oshi lets you reward customers with Bitcoin (sats) on every purchase. You can connect from your Oshi dashboard or install directly from the Shopify App Store. Either way, setup takes just a couple of minutes.

Option A: Connect from the Oshi Dashboard

Step 1: Enter Your Store URL

1. From your Oshi dashboard, go to Connections in the left sidebar
2. Select Shopify and click Connect
3. Enter your store's website URL — if you've already set your website in Business Settings, it will be prefilled automatically
4. Click Connect

Step 2: Install the Oshi App

1. You'll be redirected to the Shopify App Store
2. Review the permissions and click Install
3. After installation, you'll be redirected back to your Oshi dashboard

Your Shopify connection is now active.

Option B: Install from the Shopify App Store

1. Visit the Oshi Loyalty & Rewards app on the Shopify App Store
2. Click Install
3. Review the permissions and confirm
4. After installation, log in to your Oshi dashboard — your Shopify store will be connected automatically

After Connecting

Once your store is connected, you'll see a "Get the most out of Shopify" checklist in your Shopify connection settings. We recommend completing these three optimizations:

1. Enable the app embed for referral tracking — Ensures referral and affiliate links are properly attributed across your store
2. Add the checkout extension to your Thank You page — Shows customers their Bitcoin rewards immediately after purchase
3. Add the checkout extension to your Order Status page — Displays rewards, referral links, and VIP status when customers check their orders
