How to Set Up VIP Tiers

VIP Tiers let you create spending-based reward levels so your customers automatically earn higher Bitcoin reward percentages as they spend more with your business. It's one of the most effective ways to encourage repeat purchases and build long-term customer loyalty.

Steps

Step 1: Navigate to VIP Tiers

From your Oshi dashboard, click Loyalty Program in the left sidebar. Select the VIP Tiers tab.

Step 2: Create Your Tiers

Click Edit Tiers to open the tier editor. You can either create tiers manually or use AI generation.

To create manually:

  • Click Add Tier in the sidebar
  • Enter a Tier Name (e.g., Bronze, Silver, Gold)
  • Set the Spend Threshold — the total amount a customer must spend to reach this tier (the first tier should be $0)
  • Set the Reward Percentage — how much customers earn back at this tier (e.g., 5%)
  • Click Save

To use AI generation:

  • Click Generate with AI
  • Enter your business description, average purchase value, profit margin, and purchase frequency
  • Select a frequency period (Per Month, Per Week, etc.)
  • Click Generate — Oshi will suggest tier names, thresholds, and percentages
  • Review the suggestions and click Apply to create them

Step 3: Activate Your Tiers

Once you have at least one tier created, make sure each tier is toggled Active using the switch next to each tier name. Then ensure the VIP Tiers program status shows Active at the bottom of the page.

Important: When VIP Tiers are active, they override the base purchase reward percentage. The reward rate on the Purchases tab will show the first tier's percentage and cannot be edited directly — it's managed through VIP Tiers instead.

Optional Configuration

Edit an Existing Tier

Click on any tier in the sidebar of the tier editor to select it. Update the name, spend threshold, or reward percentage and click Save.

Delete a Tier

Select the tier in the editor and click the Delete button. You'll be asked to confirm before the tier is removed.

Note: You cannot deactivate the $0 entry tier while other tiers are still active. Deactivate all other tiers first.

Review the Email Preview

On the right side of the page, you'll see an email preview showing what customers receive. It includes their current tier, a progress bar toward the next tier, and their VIP benefits.
